softballbatsThe Heart of Texas Children’s Advocacy Center will be hosting a “Safe at Home” adult co-ed softball tournament fundraiser on Saturday, July 26 at the Early City Park.

Participation fee is $200 per team.

All players must be 18 years or older, teams must have a minimum of 10 players each.  Teams are made up of invited social service organizations plus their immediate family members.  Each team must have at least 5 organization employees, regular volunteers, or board members on their roster.  If an organization does not have 5 employees, regular volunteers or board members, the organization may join forces with another social service organization or get a waiver when signing up.

All umpires are volunteers.

There will be some rules changes to the game for added challenge and fun.  This is a recreational tournament so no actual softball skills are required to play, according to organizers.

To accept the challenge and join in the tournament, sign up your team today by calling 325-646-7148.  All proceeds benefit the Heart of Texas Children’s Advocacy Center.
