William Alfred Pate

PateWilliamWilliam Alfred Pate, age 73, died Friday, July 4, 2014 in Fort Worth,  Tx.   William was born December 6, 1940, in Killeen, Texas.  He was the first son of William George Pate and Lucille Larue Bingham Pate.  William graduated from Bangs High School in 1959 and attended Howard Payne College in Brownwood.  Before retiring he was the night plant manager for Thorsen Tool in Dallas, Texas.

He was preceded in death by a younger brother, Luther Ray Pate and his parents William (Bill) and Lucille Pate.

Survivors include a son, Vincent Pate and wife Kathy of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Elise Moore, of Richardson, Tx;   three sisters of Bangs, Jessie Austin and husband Jim; Lenora Alexander; Teressa Dill;  grandchildren are Jaqueline Moore of Searcy, Arkansas; Brianna Pate and Meagan Pate of Fort Worth; Windy Maddox and Sarah Jones of Searcy, Arkansas, Vincent Pate and Nicholas Pate of Richardson, Tx and great grandchildren Caleb Ivy, Christian Jones, Hayleigh Pate, Christopher Pate.  He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Whitely Cemetery, Georgetown, Tx .
