Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3278 and the Ladies & Men’s Auxiliary will observe Independence Day by conducting a flag retirement ceremony at 10:00 AM, Friday, July 4th.

The observance will be held at the VFW Post at 2300 Stephen F. Austin.

The ceremony will consist of the lowering of the retiring flag and raising the new National Ensign to the sound of “To the Colors.”

The public is invited to attend.
