Willie Mae Jacobson Turner

turner4Willie Mae Jacobson Turner, 93 completed her walk here on earth Sunday, June 22, 2014 in Bedford, Texas.

She was born in East Sweden, Texas in McCulloch County on November 27, 1920 to Alvin and Ora Dee Jacobson.

On December 18, 1938 she married Oscar Harold Turner and moved to Brady, Texas in 1954. She was a member of the Early Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, her beloved husband of 66 years on April 30, 2004, two brothers and her son, Harold Dean Turner in February 1996.

She is survived by a son Oscar Turner and wife Linda, of La Porte, Texas, daughter Ora Mae Turner Deere and husband Doug of Bedford, Texas, son Ronnie Turner and wife Cheryl of Brownwood, a brother Wayne Jacobson and wife Ann of Brownwood, and a sister Betty Jacobson Collins of Nacogdoches. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and six great-great- grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews that were dear to her heart.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 27 at 11:00 AM in the Heartland Funeral Chapel Early, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday, June 26 from 6-8 PM.  Interment will be at Eastlawn Memorial Park Early, Texas.

Heartland Funeral Home Early, Texas is in charge of arrangements.
