Darold Beck, Jr.

BeckDarold Beck, Jr., 47, of Brownwood, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, in Brownwood.  Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, June 27, 2014, in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home Chapel.  Darold will be laid to rest in Eastlawn Memorial Park, following the funeral service.  The family will receive friends and guests during visitation, which will be Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Darold Weyman Beck, Jr. was born on September 30, 1966, in Brownwood, TX, to Darold Weyman Sr. and Nancy Marie (Myers) Beck.  Darold worked as a foreman with Ross Company, he was part of a disaster relief response team, and most recently as an equipment operator for Total Construction.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman; Darold also enjoyed playing softball.  He enjoyed coaching soccer and t-ball for his sons.  One of his greatest joys was to cookout at the lake with his friends and family or head down to the coast to go deep sea fishing.  Darold was a loving husband; father, brother, uncle and friend.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Darold was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Marie Beck.

Darold leaves behind, to cherish his memory, his wife, Ginger Stevic-Beck; 3 sons, Christopher Beck and wife Carissa of Lubbock, Sonny Beck and wife Megan of Kingwood and Chance Beck of Brownwood; 2 daughters, Tiffany Beck of Corpus Christi and Brandy Bradley of Corrinth, MS; his father, Darold Weyman Beck, Sr.; his brother, Michael Beck and Wife Teana of Brownwood; his sister, Brenda Johnson and husband William of Brownwood; 16 grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.
