Monday, June 23

*9:57 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Coggin Avenue regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she was at the Wash Brite laundry mat in the 1300 block of Coggin Avenue on Saturday, June 21st when someone entered her vehicle and removed her purse.  The purse contained cash and her identification documents, the report states.

*12:09 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of 6th Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, the investigation lead to the arrest of Raistlin Ibarra for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*1:29 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a location on Carpenter Street in Brown County regarding a public nuisance.   According to the report, the deputy arrived and observed approximately 47 automobiles, ATVs and motorcycles all in various stages of disrepair.  A boat, trailer with two watercrafts, a farm tractor and many tire were also present on the property, the report states.  The occupant of the property was contacted and given a 30 day abatement notice.

*6:07 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Avenue B regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, a microwave and a stereo were stolen during the burglary.

*6:13 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Booker Street regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her television was taken from her residence and was seen at the Driftwood Apartments on Main Street.  The complainant did wish to pursue criminal charges as she is still paying on the television through a local business, the report states.

*11:13 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the 2700 block of W. Main Blvd. regarding an assault.  According to the report, the victim stated that a male suspect struck her on the side of her head during an argument.  No arrests were made at the time of the report, according to the deputy.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft of property.  According to the report, the complainant stated that two truck tires had been stolen off of his property.  The tires, identified as 10/100/20 size truck tires had been stolen; however, he had located them at Trans Texas Tires in Brownwood, the report states.  A BCSO deputy spoke with the owner of the business who stated that a suspect had sold them to him on Friday, June 20 for $200, according to the deputy’s report.

*29-year-old Alex Arellano of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to criminal mischief equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Joshua Ray Caperton of Brownwood on a warrant related to delivery of a controlled substance.

*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old  Khayman Broadi Delarosa of Brownwood on a warrant related to criminal mischief equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*30-year-old Laura Irene Shaw Roberson of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to order amend probation/aggravated theft of property.

Tuesday, June 24

*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was called to the lobby of a local hotel regarding found property.   According to the report, the caller advised he had located an iPhone at a business on US Hwy 377S.  The cell phone was taken as found property and placed into the evidence bin at the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, the report states.

*Texas Juvenile Justice Department arrested 17-year-old Ariel Nicole Cunningham of the Ron Jackson Unit on a warrant related to assault on a public servant.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 57-year-old Daniel Lee Gentry of Brownwood on a warrant related to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Raistlin Baily Ibarra of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury family violence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

*31-year-old Anthony Dewayne Roberts of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to criminal mischief equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
