2014RodRunLogoThe Heartland Cruisers wish to thank the community for helping them host the 2014 Heartland Rod Run which was held June 6th and 7th.

Over two days they had over 300 cars and motorcycles from 74 towns across Texas and New Mexico, with one driver traveling 330 Miles.  There were thousands of spectators.  The event did not charge one dollar in admission fees.  There were 12 vendors with Brownwood Cheerleaders hosting a delicious lunch.

A $500 donation was made to the Boy Scouts of America and a $500 donation to the Early Volunteer Fire Department by the Heartland Cruisers.  A donation to the Corinne T. Smith Animal Shelter will be made at a later date.  The Heartland Cruisers gave away 50 awards, as well as numerous door prizes donated by community businesses.

“All of this couldn’t be done without the business community backing us.  Most notable Brownwood and Early Chambers of Commerce, Sonic of Brownwood and Early, Bruner Auto Group, Stanley Chrysler, O’Reilly  Auto Parts,  Sparks Finish Line Collision, Day Stone, Big Country Ford and Firestone,” stated club members.  “Again we wish to thank all who helped, supported or attended the Heartland Rod Run.”
