HutsonBobBob Hutson, age 73, of Brownwood passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas.

A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald Green officiating.  Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. prior to service.  Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Bob was born on June 23, 1940 to Lewis and Lenabelle (Lee) Hutson in New Franklin, MO.  He married June Landers in Arlington, Texas on April 21, 1965.  He worked for G.M. for 9 ½ years before moving to Brownwood.  Bob was the owner of Hutson Septic Services for 18 years.  He built many fences, poured concrete, and was a “Jack of all trades.”  He attended Church of the Lord Jesus.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, June Hutson of Brownwood; children, Bobby Lynn Hutson and wife Michelle of Weatherford, Connie Reeves and husband Todd of Brownwood, Annette Cooper of Georgetown, Jeff Hutson and wife Amy of Bangs, and Jennifer Elliott and Corey Crawford of Blanket; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Jackie Hutson of Brownwood; and brother, Kenneth Hutson.  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.

Memorials can be made in Bob’s memory to Hendrick League House.  Online condolences are welcomed at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
