Sammy Bolton

Sammy Bolton, age 71, of Coleman, died Friday, May 30, 2014, in Runnels County.  Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the White Chapel Cemetery.

Sammy was born August 19, 1942 in Coleman, the oldest child of ten children, of Sam and Mahdeen Bolton.  He grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School.  Sammy  was married to Terry Ray for almost 30 years.  He was a crane operator, welder, carpenter, heavy equipment operator and supervisor for Bolton Steel Erectors.

Survivors include two sons, Guy Bolton and Brad Bolton both of Coleman; four grandchildren, Tye  Bolton, Cole Bolton, Coupe Bolton and Josie Bolton.; two great-grandchildren, Brody Bolton and Braelee Shay Bolton; five sisters, Sherry Mayfield, JoJo Foster, Rita McAlister, Cindy Donald and Tonya Stratton; three brothers, Jacky Bolton, Danny Bolton, and Buddy Bolton; numerous other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Tammy McDorman.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 2nd at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, Coleman, Texas.
