dosserSherry Dale Hargrove Doster, age 71, of Zephyr left this earth to go be with our Heavenly Father Sunday, May 25, 2014.

Memorial Services for Sherry will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Zephyr Baptist Church with Brian Griffin and Sam Crosby officiating, private interment. Online condolences for the family are welcomed at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Sherry was born on January 30, 1943 in San Antonio. Her parents were J.E. and Shirley Hargrove. She grew up in Voca, Texas and attended school in Brady, Texas. She retired from New Horizon’s doing what she loved, cooking. She continued that love of cooking for special occasions at her church, Zephyr Baptist Church.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Kellen Davis and husband Michael of Mexia; son, Tom Doster and wife Sharon of Kerrville; long time companion, Curtis Butler of Zephyr; grandchildren, Katy Davis, Zachary Davis, Hailey Doster, Kenneth Doster, and Joshua Doster; two sisters, Reva Perkins of Zephyr and Peggy Breshers of Lampasas; brother, Dolan Hargrove of Plano. Also survived by her caring friend, Amy Powers of Zephyr; and last but not least, “her boys” two Boston Terriers, Pudge and Barney.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Todd Randall Doster.
