Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the BROWN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT will convene on the 19th day of May, 2014, at 9:00 A. M., in the Brown County Commissioners Courtroom:

A.  Opening Prayer

B. Reading and approval of Minutes

C. Recognition of Visitors

D. Matter of New Business to be presented to the Court for its consideration and action as appropriate. Items may not be taken in the order that they are listed.

1.  Joel Kelton, Pct 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban;

2.  Scott Anderson, Kim Miles and Nick Gonzales – Presentation of “Building a Better Texas” award;

3.  Sharon Ferguson – Consideration and possible approval of oath and bond for C.T. Ham, Constable Pct 3;

4.  Ken Thomas, City of Early – Application to install private line, CR 344;

5.  Ray West – Consideration and possible approval to reappoint Dr. James Hays to the Local Health Authority for Brown County;

6.  Joel Kelton, Pct 2 – Consideration and possible approval to advertise for crushed base and oversize rock for Precinct 2.

7.  Gary Worley, Pct 1 – Consideration and possible approval of Indigent Healthcare Solutions LTD software;

8.  Ross Bradley, Guardian EMS – Consideration and possible approval of proposed Contract assignment and extension to Allegiance Ambulance;

9.  Ray West – Consideration and possible approval of alternate part time fill ins for County Court Administrator;

10.  Ray West – Consideration and possible approval of designation of mail recipient office for Courthouse mail deliveries;

11.  Ray West – Consideration and possible action regarding implementation of tax exemption for residential (homestead) owners 65 and older, and/or disabled in Brown County, pursuant to Art. VIII, Sec. 1-b(h) Texas Constitution;

E.  Reports;

F.  Consideration and Approval of bills;

G.  Approval of Treasurer’s/Auditor’s Report

H.  Adjournment or recess;

Supplemental Item:

1.  Ray West – Consideration and possible approval of Anita Dunlap for implementation of her recommendations concerning the clarification, correction, and update of Indigent Health Care Program and Program Records, and training of Indigent Healthcare personnel for Brown County.
