Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the BROWN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT will convene on the 12th day of May, 2014, at 9:00 A. M., in the Brown County Commissioners Courtroom:

A.  Opening Prayer

B. Reading and approval of Minutes

C. Recognition of Visitors

D. Matter of New Business to be presented to the Court for its consideration and action as appropriate. Items may not be taken in the order that they are listed.

1.         Joel Kelton, Pct 2 – Consideration and possible approval of action regarding burn ban;

2.         Nancy Byler, Texas Silver Haired Legislator – Discussion and possible action regarding the subject of HJR 16 allowing a tax freeze for seniors 65+ and/or disabled of Brown County, TX;

3.         Larry Traweek, Pct 2 – Open bids for blasting and crushing of material bids;

4.         Larry Traweek, Pct 2 – Consideration and possible approval to accept bid for blasting and crushing of material bid;

5.         Gary Worley, Pct 1 – Consideration and possible approval of filing cabinets for Indigent Care;

6.         Ray West – Consideration and possible approval of repair and replacement of air conditioning equipment at The Oaks facility;

7.         Ray West – Consideration and possible approval of legislative service agreement with Bob Turner and fee for such service;

8.         Ray West – Consideration and possible approval of proposal for repairs of elevator phone;

9.         Gary Worley, Pct 1 – Consideration and possible approval of Indigent Health Care Assessment;

10.       Gary Worley, Pct 1 – Consideration and possible approval of replacement employee for Indigent Health Care;

E.         Reports

F.         Consideration and Approval of bills

G.        Approval of Treasurer’s/Auditor’s Report

H.        Adjournment or recess;
