Election Day is Saturday for Bangs, Blanket and Early

votebuttonCities of Bangs, Blanket and Early along with the Blanket ISD and Early will finish up their elections on Saturday, May 10th.

Early voting closed on Tuesday, May 6th, with a total of 577 voters taking advantage to vote early according to Brown County Assistant Elections Administrator Larry Franks.  The City of Bangs had a total of 40 votes cast early.  The City of Blanket saw 21 voters and the City of Early had 180.  Blanket ISD had a total of 70 and Early ISD had 266.

On Election Day, Saturday, May 10th, the City of Bangs voting will be at the Bangs Community Center (406 Spencer) and the City of Early and Early ISD will be held at the Early Lion’s Club (419 Garmon Dr. Highway 84).  Polls at both locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day.

City of Blanket and Blanket ISD will be holding their own elections.  Election Day, May 10th, polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Methodist Church on Main Street in Blanket.

Early voting for the Brown County runoff election will begin on Monday, May 19th.
