VFW to Host Fish Fry Benefiting Local Resident Battling Cancer

VFWLadiesMenAuxLogosVFW Post 3278 and Ladies and Men’s Auxiliaries will host a fish fry fundraiser on Friday, May 9th benefiting Tracey Swingle who is a local resident battling cancer.  The fundraiser will be held from 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at VFW Post 3278, located at 2300 Stephen F. Austin in Brownwood.

Meals of fried fish, coleslaw, hush puppies, beans and relish will be offered for $8 a plate.  Advance orders can be made by calling the VFW at 325-646-8113, please call before Friday, May 9th.

Those attending the fish fry are also invited to join VFW and auxiliary members at the Post for lunch.

Delivery is also available in the Brownwood and Early areas beginning at 10:30 a.m.  For delivery of meals please call 325-646-8113.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will help Tracey with expenses incurred with his cancer treatments.

Members of the VFW and Ladies & Men’s Auxiliaries thank the public for their support of this fundraiser.
