The One Day at a Time Team, one of 35 Relay for Life teams in Brown County that are raising money for the American Cancer Society, came together this year to support and honor their dear friend and coworker, Judy Day.

The team is working to show support as well as raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society.  The team will wear bright yellow shirts with Judy Day’s name on the front and the saying “You never know how strong you are until strong is the only choice you have” on the back. They will be sure to stand out at the Relay for Life held on June 6th.

Mrs. Day is the student counselor at Early Primary School.  The faculty and staff of Early Primary School joined together in their yellow One Day at a Time T-shirts to surround and show their support of Judy Day who is their friend, hero and constant source of inspiration.  The two students pictured front row center are Josh Hill (left) and Jared Baucom (right).

Team members of One Day at a Time are:  Darcy Stockman- team captain, Missy Clark, Tami Edgar, Tammy Bannister, Bonnie Bennett, Dawna Fulton, Mashawn Campbell, Brett and Donna Koch, Sheryl Carothers, Tonie Contreras, Peggy Mann, Katrina Mann, Meldina Mitchell, Celeste Justice, and Judy Day.
