Brown County Water Improvement District Agenda – May 13, 2014 – Revised

Brown County Water Improvement District #1 board of directors meeting, Tuesday, May 13, 2014, 4 PM – 501 E. Baker.

Meeting Agenda (revised):

1.         Call to Order;

2.         Pledge of Allegiance;

3.         Invocation;

4.         Approval of Minutes of meetings held in April 2014;

5.         Approval of claims and accounts report;

6.         Approval of investment and financial reports;

7.         Citizens Presentations: Any citizen desiring to address the Board of Directors regarding a matter not included on agenda may do so at this time.  The Board of Directors may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item.  To comply with the provisions of    the Open Meetings Act, the Board of Directors respectfully requests that prior to addressing the Board, each person submit a citizens presentation form located at the  entrance lobby, stating your name, address and topic of presentation.  All presentations     are limited to five (5) minutes time limit;

8.         District’s Legal Counsel shall administer Oath of Office to Directors elected by Certification of Unopposed Candidate, Ted Simpson and Bert Massey;

9.         Election of Board Officers;

10.       Announce Committee Assignments;

11.       Date and time of Board meetings;

12.       Update and discuss proposed reuse project and possible water line to Lake Brownwood;

13.       Accept and finalize TWDB Lake Brownwood Volumetric Survey draft;

14.       Discuss and take necessary action regarding amendments to Zephyr WSC Treated Water Supply Contract;

15.       Discuss and take necessary action regarding a contract or permit requirement for companies that construct and/or repair private docks at Lake Brownwood;

16.       Discuss and take necessary action regarding acquiring a contract with electric service provider for the District;

17.       Discuss and take necessary action regarding request from Freese & Nichols for payment  of additional services rendered at Micro Filtration Plant;

18.       Hear General Manager report regarding current projects and current lake conditions;

19.       Adjournment.
