Keffer to Speak Friday at Brown County Republican Women Luncheon

keffernewBrown County Republican Women’s Club will host their monthly luncheon on Friday, May 9th, 11:30 a.m. at the Brownwood Country Club featuring guest speaker State Representative Jim Keffer.

Keffer will be speaking on current happenings in the state and what to expect in next year’s legislative session.

The public is invited to attend the BCRW luncheon and membership is not required to attend.  Cost of the luncheon is $12 per person to be paid at the door.   Please RSVP Anne Casas at [email protected] or leave a message at 325-641-2789.

State Representative Jim Keffer is a conservative family man, small business owner and lifelong Texas Republican Party leader.  As president of EBAA Iron Sales, Inc., Jim is one of the largest employers in Eastland, TX and Albany, TX.

Jim currently serves as Chairman of the Texas House Committee on Energy Resources.  He also serves on the Natural Resources Committee, Redistricting Committee and Texas House Republican Caucus.

He has served as Deacon and Sunday School Teach in the first Baptist Church of Eastland, past President of the Eastland Little League and is active with economic development through his local Chamber of Commerce.

Jim and his wife, Leslie, have been married for 38 years; have three sons and a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.  Jim and Leslie are both Texas Tech University graduates.

Rep. Keffer represents House District 60 that encompasses Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Eastland, Hood, Palo Pinto, Shackelford and Stephens counties.
