One man was airlifted for treatment of his injuries following a two-vehicle collision on W. Commerce Thursday afternoon.

According to law enforcement on scene, a Chevy Blazer was attempting to turn west on W. Commerce when it collided with a motorcycle which was traveling east on W. Commerce.  The male driver of the motorcycle sustained injuries which required him to be airlifted for treatment.  At the time of the accident the location of the hospital was not disclosed nor was the extent of his injuries.

The female driver of the Blazer did not appear to have sustained injuries.  The motorcycle was heavily damaged.  The front of the Blazer had significant damage as well.

Brownwood Fire Department, Brownwood Police, Texas Department of Public Safety, Guardian EMS and Air Evac responded to the scene.
