Brownwood High School Lady Lion Sydney Roberts finished 5th in the 3A UIL Girls Golf State Championship on Tuesday at Lions Municipal Golf Course in Austin.

Roberts shot a 75 on Monday and 86 on Tuesday for a total of 161.

Placing ahead of Roberts were Shawnee Allen of La Vernia in first place with a total of 149 and Sarah Black of Andrews in 2nd place with 153.  Kalli Jennings took third place with a total of 155 and Sarah Moore of Burkburnett scored 158 for fourth place.

Roberts is the daughter of Jeff and Diane Roberts and a sophomore at Brownwood High School.
