Lawson Voices Support for Mike Holder

First and foremost I would like to thank everyone that supported me in my bid for the Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 position. God Bless you all.

Having been low man on the totem pole and not being part of the runoff election I am faced with a very difficult position. Who, if anyone, do I endorse or support?

The word “endorse” would denote (in my mind) that you agree with the candidate with essential elements of the campaign platform. However “support” does not dictate that requirement. Supporting someone can be dictated by a strong desire to NOT support or to OPPOSE the opponent.

In this case I must say that due to EXTREME opposition to Mr. Bob Wall and the history that he has with blatant violations of the oath of office that it would dictate that my support would be behind Mr. Mike Holder. Although I do not “endorse” Mr. Holder, I find myself in support of him, but let me be transparent; NO MATTER WHO WINS I WILL BE RUNNING AGAIN and will do all I can to return this precinct to the people.

There should NEVER be any kind of bias from the bench of ANY court. And I assure you, when you elect me in the March 7, 2017 primary election I will serve with honor, integrity and without ANY bias.

I know there are some who disagree with me due to personal conflicts. However, knowing that you are honorable men I believe you will be able to put aside any personal feelings and function in a professional manner, at least long enough to give me time to win the office.

-John W. Lawson Sr.
