The Lyric Performing Arts Company will be holding auditions for their annual children’s show on Monday, April 21st at the Music Building on HPU campus from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

This year, the children’s show will be a play called Johnny and the Bear, a fun story about the tale of how Johnny Appleseed encounters a bear while trying to sleep inside an old tree trunk.  The play will have some fun puppet characters as well as people, and 3-4 guys and 3-4 ladies will be needed for the production.   Performances for the play will held in late May.

Auditions will consist of some acting exercises, puppet exercises, and some cold script readings.
