Raeanne “Randi” Purcell

PurcellRandiRaeanne “Randi” Purcell 65, of Lake Brownwood passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014, at Kindred Hospital Southwest in Fort Worth, Texas.

A Celebration of Life, love, laughter and memories will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 19, at the home place at Lake Brownwood.  In keeping with her wishes, Randi was cremated under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations.

Raeanne “Randi” Jones was born on February 1, 1949, in Stephenville, Texas to Ray Jones and Beverly Brown Jones. She had lived in Brown County for most of her life and on December 15, 1969, she married Eddie Purcell in Bryan, Texas. Randi had worked as a convenience store clerk for many years and also worked as a bookkeeper, before retiring due to health reasons. She loved hanging out with friends and family and playing games.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, Eddie F. Purcell of Lake Brownwood; her son, Eddie Ray Purcell also of Lake Brownwood; a sister, Barbara King of Bangs; one grandchild, Brianne Purcell of Graham; one great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Beverly Jones; and a sister, Lynn Robertson.
