Brown County Water Improvement District #1 board of directors meeting, Tuesday, April 8, 2014, 4 PM – 501 E. Baker.

Meeting Agenda:

1.  Call to Order

2.  Pledge of Allegiance

3.  Invocation

4.  Approval of:  Minutes of regular meeting held March 2014.

5.  Approval of:  Claims and Accounts Report;

6.  Approval of Investment and Financial Reports;

7.  Citizen Presentations:  any citizen desiring to address the Board of Directors regarding a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time.  The Board of Directors may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item.  To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Board of Directors respectfully requests that prior to addressing the Board, each person submit a citizen presentation form located in the entrance to the lobby, stating your name, address and topic of presentation.  All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit;

8.  Approve Resolution Cancelling the Director Election Scheduled to be held on May 10, 2014, Due to Unopposed Candidacy

9.  Update regarding possible contract or permit requirements for companies that construct and/or repair private boat docks at Lake Brownwood;

10.  Discuss and take necessary action regarding request from Freese & Nichols for payment of additional services rendered at Micro Filtration Plant;

11.  Discuss and approve resolution to incorporate additional area at Lake Brownwood to be under the jurisdiction of District Rules and Regulations;

12.  Hear General Manager’s report regarding current projects and lake levels;

13.  Adjournment.
