Early High School Jazz Band Earns Top Honors at Temple Jazz Festival

The Early High School Jazz Band competed in the Temple Jazz Festival at Temple College on March 28th, earning a 1st Division rating.  In addition, four students were named as outstanding soloists:

Zac Bessent, Alto Sax

Brad Brown, Trombone

Abraham Cooper, Piano

Alan Cornelio, Bass Guitar

Members of the Early High School Jazz Band are:

Saxophones – Zac Bessent, Courtnie Smith, Cody Luttrell, Christopher Whited, Clarissa Arreola, Luke Broussard

Trumpets – Daniel Eure, Jeremy Eure, Kassidy Holland, Tanner Sims, Collins Phillips

Trombones – Brad Brown, Christopher Martin, Connor Marsh, Robert Orr

Rhythm – Abraham Cooper – Piano, Hunter Hull and Patrick Murphy – Guitar, Alan Cornelio – Bass, Brayden Towell – Drums

Flute – Bethany Kirk

The EHS Jazz Band is directed by Jason Jones and assisted by Robert Chapleau, Tyler Matthews, and Allen Andrus.
