LECSmLaw enforcement reports and arrests released Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

Tuesday, April 1

*2:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding an internal theft follow-up.  According to the report, a suspect is known and an investigation is underway.

*6:48 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 8th Street regarding possible drugs/narcotics use.  According to the report, during an investigation it was reported to the officer that a juvenile may possibly have been abused.  The incident is pending further investigation.

*9:53 PM – Brownwood Police responded to a call for terroristic threat involving three subjects in a red truck.  The truck was located in the 1200 block of West US Hwy 67 and stopped based on the initial complaint.  During the stop, a juvenile was taken into custody for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, the report states.

*9:53 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Food Mart, located in the 700 block of W. Commerce regarding an assault.  According to the report, information obtained during the call indicated that a male subject had attempted to stab another male subject and threatened a female who was present at an apartment in the 1500 block of Terrace Drive.  Suspects were located; however, the assault victim declined to pursue any criminal charges against the suspect, the report states.  The incident was documented by police.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Whispering Oaks Lane regarding a scam.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she had been “scammed out of $459.90.”

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Nina Ballejo of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.  Ballejo is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bond.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 48-year-old Tylene Bluthardt of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear and theft.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Leslie Ray David, Jr. of Early on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Shaunta Brooke Denison of Brownwood on warrants related to motion to revoke/hinder apprehension of felon and motion to revoke/tamper government record.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Edward Franklin Fields of Brownwood on a warrant related to 2nd motion to adjudicate/sexual assault of a child.  Fields is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old David Marcus Miranda of Forest Hill on warrants related to possession of a controlled substance and two counts of manufacture delivery of a controlled substance.

*30-year-old Lorena Arriaga Navejar of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to burglary of a habitation.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
