Wednesday, March 26

*8:44 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Good Shepherd Drive regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, an investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, March 27

*10:23 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce, the Budget Inn, regarding the burglary of a habitation.

*11:09 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding forgery.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person had forged and passed an old check at a local business on March 24, 2014.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Jose Claudio Galaviz, Jr. of Brownwood on warrants related to burglary of a habitation and theft of a firearm.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Briana E. Lozano, a resident of the Ron Jackson State Juvenile Correction Center, for assault public servant.

*31-year-old Patricia Sue Watkins of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to abandon endanger child.

Friday, March 28

*12:34 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding a domestic disturbance.  Officers arrived and spoke with a female who indicated she had been assaulted by her boyfriend.  The incident was documented, the report states.

*1:21 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 6th Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant and his brother had been involved in an argument.  The brother was not at the location when officers arrived; however was located later and a report was filed for assault family violence.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Arthur Lopez of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
