Lieutenant Colonel Jamey Creek, Garrison Commander at the Camp Bowie Training Center, will be the featured speaker at the Pecan Valley Republican Women luncheon Thursday, March 27 at the Brownwood County Club.

Colonel Creek will give an overview of the Training Center and an analysis of the effects on the military of the recent major cuts to the military budget.

Colonel Creek was deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom where he earned the Iraqi Campaign Medal, among others. He also has been awarded the Bronze Star.

Colonel Creek has been married to his wife Kimberly for 20 years, and they have a 10-year-old daughter.

The luncheon will be held at the Brownwood Country Club from 11:30 AM to 1 PM.  Cost of the buffet lunch is $12.  The luncheon is open to the public.
