CoxMildredFuneral Services for Mildred Ann Cox, age 75, of Early, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early with her son Rick Wilson officiating.  Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM Wednesday prior to her service.  Mrs. Cox past away Sunday, March 23 at her son’s home in Abilene.

Mildred Ann was born in Goldsmith, Texas to M.H. Nance, Jr. and Connie Elizabeth Jones Nance.  She was married to Ben Cox on February 2, 1968 in Midland.  Mildred was a loving wife, mother and babysitter for her grandchildren. She had been a resident of Early since 1982 and had formerly lived in Stanton.

Survivors include her husband Ben Cox of Early; two sons Rick Wilson and wife Karen of Abilene and Rance Wayne Wilson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; six grandchildren Marvin Rick Wilson II and wife Amber, Laresa Roemisch and husband Jeremy, Danielle Floyd and husband Ben, Shaleen Wilson, Rance Wayne Wilson II, Otika Arnold and husband Christopher; seven great grandchildren and one on the way.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Terri Lynn Wilson and one brother Charles Morgan Nance.
