Sharron McDaniel Duncan

DuncanSharron McDaniel Duncan was born July 19, 1940 in Brownwood Texas to Sherman and Bill (Willie Mae) McDaniel. She graduated from Brownwood High School in 1958. She attended Business School in Abilene, Texas. She married her high school sweetheart Johnny Ray Duncan in Brownwood in 1959.

Sharron’s lifetime career was as an Administrative Assistant in both the Medical and Insurance Fields. She loved working with people and helping them solve their problems. Cooking and spending time with her family were her favorite past times. Her grandchildren did no wrong. She always had their back and was in their corner.
She was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

She is survived by children: John Sherman Duncan and wife, Joy of Goldthwaite; Jana Copeland and husband, Greg of Brownwood; Jennifer Piper and husband, Allen of Blanket; Her beloved grandchildren Heather Proffitt and husband, Greg; Tyler Livingston and wife, Brooke; Clinton Copeland; Zach Duncan and wife, Trisha; and Britt Piper. Great grandchildren: Tyler Allan Livingston, Brynlee Proffitt, and Garrison Proffitt and the much anticipated arrival of John Taos Duncan in July 2014. Sister, Jeannette Chesser of Lake Brownwood.

She was preceded in death by husband, parents and grandson David Allan Livingston.
The family would like to express special thanks to Cousin Dr. T. Ward Locklear and staff. The family would also like to express their appreciation to Brownwood Senior Care Staff, her second family for their loving care and attention.
