Brownwood Police responded to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries which occurred at the intersection of Avenue K and 4th Street Wednesday, around 11:30 a.m.

According to a witness on scene, the driver of the GMC Acadia was traveling southwest on Avenue K, when the Ford F-150 pickup traveling southeast through the intersection struck the back passenger wheel of the Acadia.  The Acadia spun completely around due to the impact of the collision and the Ford continued to travel through the intersection, striking a utility pole at the southern corner of the intersection.

The pickup sustained front-end damage from the impacts with the Acadia and the utility pole.  The Acadia, pictured above, sustained damage to the rear quarter panel and the back passenger wheel was knocked completely from the vehicle’s axle due to the impact.
