Sunday, March 2

*1:18 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to a residence on US Hwy 183 N regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her foster son had assaulted her and her daughter, by pushing each of them, causing them pain.

*1:19 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property at Gordon Road regarding animal cruelty.  The deputy arrived to find two dogs that appeared to have no source of water, food or shelter.  The owners were located by the deputy and basic necessities of food, water and shelter were provided to the dogs.  The deputy noted that he did believe that the offense of cruelty to nonlivestock animals was committed by the owner.

Monday, March 3

*3:40 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a property on FM 2525 regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had stolen his 15 horsepower motor, valued at $1,000, off of his boat.

*7:09 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue regarding harassment.  According to the report, a suspect was identified and the incident is pending further investigation.   Although there was no suspect information available at the time of the report, the complainant wished to pursue criminal charges if a suspect could be identified, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of water pump from the well on the property located at the dead end of Third Street in May.  The pump was valued at approximately $500-$1500.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Orlando Enrique Carrillo on a warrant for a parole violation.

*31-year-old Shanta Brooke Denison turned herself in on a warrant related to forgery of a financial instrument.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
