Friends of Lake Brownwood State Park will host the Nopales Ridge 5K Trail Run fundraiser on Saturday, March 8th to celebrate the grand opening of the park’s first bike trail.

The public is invited to run, jog or walk the trail with the Friends of Lake Brownwood during the 5K event.

Check-in will begin at 8:45 AM and the run will start at 9:30 AM at Lake Brownwood State Park, located at 200 Park Road 15.

Registration fees are $15 for individuals, $20 per couple and $35 for families.  Registration deadline is February 26th.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the park directly.
