Meet and Greet “Get out the Vote” Rally to be Held Tuesday for State Representative Jim Keffer

JimKefferRally021814The public is invited to attend a “Get out the Vote” Rally for State Representative Jim Keffer on Tuesday, February 18th from 4:30-6:30 p.m.  The rally will be held at the Depot Civic and Cultural Center, located at 600 E. Depot Street.

Educators and others supporting education are encouraged to attend as special guest speaker, Republican State Representative Jimmie Don Aycock, Chairman of the Texas House Public Education Committee, will highlight the importance of protecting public schools and the importance of career tech education—for which Jim Keffer has been a long-time advocate.

Rep. Keffer has served District 60 since 1996.  District 60 includes Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Eastland, Hood, Palo Pinto, Shackelford and Stephens Counties.

He is a family man, small business owner and lifelong Republican.

  • Married 37 years; 3 grown sons; a daughter-in-law; and 2 grandchildren
  • President, EBAA Iron Sales (Local Iron Foundry employing 400 people)
  • Texas Tech University Graduate
