The City of Early will hold their city council election on May 10th at the Early Lions Club building, located on Hwy 183 South in Early.

The terms of Councilmen Bennie Alcorn, B.J. McCullough and Charles Matlock are expiring leaving three at-large council seats up for election this year.

The filing period for the election is currently open and will run through February 28, 2014.  Those interested may file at the Early City Hall, located at 960 Early Blvd. in Early, Texas.

The Early City Council is made up of 5 council members and the city’s mayor.
