Jimmy was born in November 23, 1955 in Brownwood.  His father was Walter Thomas Fulcher.  He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Delia and Raymond Blakenship.  He lived most of his life in Brownwood and in Blanket for a little while.

Jimmy enjoyed fishing in the Pecan Bayou, especially when his boys were growing up.  He also enjoyed the time he worked as a technician at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Jimmy is survived by his two sons, Gary and Stephen Fulcher; three grandchildren, Jared, Shayla, and Dylan Fulcher; five brothers, Tommy Fulcher, Lynn Fulcher, Billy Fulcher, Joe Fulcher, and Michael Blankenship, a sister, Barbara Lorah, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Virgil and Rosettie Pierce and O.V. and Fats Pierce.

Jimmy also requested that Brother Ruben Packer of Victory Baptist Church preach his service.  He loved to hear Brother Packer preach about Jesus.
