LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, January 31, 2014.

Thursday, January 30

*2:32 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding identity theft.  No suspect had been identified at the time of the report.

*5:05 PM – A Brownwood Police observed a suspicious pickup with a trailer attached to it in the 300 block of E. Commerce, the parking lot of Tractor Supply.  According to the report, after an investigation, the officer arrested 50-year-old Michael Alders of Conroe and an occupant in the vehicle on outstanding warrants.

*5:36 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 17-year-old Leanna Perkins and 18-year-old Anthony Ross for theft equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*7:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Magnolia regarding a civil matter.  According to the report, during the investigation it was discovered that the complainant was a victim of assault family violence.

*7:55 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 607 regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant advised that sometime between 12:00 noon on December 20, 2013 and 7:00 p.m. on January 30, 2014, someone entered her residence and took several pieces of a sterling silver serving set which belongs to her $15,000.  Possible suspects have been named, the report states.

*8:45 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 300 block of Lipscomb.  This stop led to the arrest of Miguel Sanchez on a warrant and the arrest of Juan Sanchez for possession of marijuana.  A third occupant of the vehicle was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 45-year-old Richard Tyrone Bryant on a warrant related to indecency with a child.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Christopher James Cotton on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of marijuana.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Guadalupe Elizabeth Glavan on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/fraud.

*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Desiree Michelle Henson on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/theft of property and credit card abuse.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Larry Darnell Johnson on a warrant for delivery of marijuana in a drug free zone.

*18-year-old Justin Allen Jordy of Zephyr was arrested on a warrant related to criminal mischief.

*Bangs Police arrested 34-year-old Joy Luis Miller of Brownwood for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.

Friday, January 31

*Early Police arrested 25-year-old Tyler Lee Adams on warrants related to sexual performance by a child under 14, online solicitation of a minor, and possession of child pornography.  Adams is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $60,000.

*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Dusty Benefield of Conroe on a Liberty County warrant for a probation violation related to theft.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
