In observance of the Martin Luther King Holiday, Brownwood City Hall will be closed and there will be no collection of residential waste on Monday, January 20th.  Residents with blue or green carts, please note that your collection days are as follows.

*Monday’s routes will be collected Tuesday.
*Tuesday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday.
*Thursday’s and Friday’s routes will not be affected by the holiday.

The Recycling Center and Landfill will be closed on Monday as well and will reopen on Tuesday, during normal business hours.

The Recycling Center collects electronic recyclables (E-Recycling) at no charge, for more information call the Recycling Center for details at 325-641-8832.

The City collects brush and tree limbs from residential customers at no charge, please cut them into lengths of 5 feet or less and notify the Sanitation Department at 643-4200.

For problems related to water or sewer service within the City of Brownwood, customers may call 646-6000, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
