Northwest Elementary third-grade students recently partnered with the employees of the T.R. Havins Unit to collect items for Silver Angels, local nursing home residents that could use a special treat at Christmas.

The students collected items to be placed into goody bags they decorated that were then delivered to residents by Santa. This is the second year Northwest Elementary has participated in the effort.
