Claude Haden Roberts, 86 of Bangs, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013, in a Brownwood hospital.

Services will be held at 2 PM Monday, December 16, 2013, at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home of Early, Texas, with Pastor Daniel Vasquez of Victory Life Church in Brownwood, Texas, officiating.

Mr. Roberts is survived by two brothers, John Wayne Roberts and wife Wanda Roberts of Garden City, Texas, and David Roberts of Big Spring, Texas. He is also survived by one step-son, Kenneth Riley of Odessa; numerous nieces, nephews; and very special friends and caregivers, Frank and Elizabeth Vasquez of Bangs, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Haden and Elizabeth Roberts; his wife, Margaret Roberts; four sisters, Ethel Mae Roberts, Marie Wilder, Della Kinard and Dorothy Burks; and two brothers, Floyd Roberts and Raymond Roberts.
