The Pecan Valley Detachment of the Marine Corps League recently presented a DPMS .223 M4 rifle with scope, laser and attached to James Cox of Bangs, the winner of the raffle for the gun.

Cox was presented the M4 at the Marine Corps’ Birthday Party, celebrating the 238th anniversary of the U.S. Marine Corps, which was held on November 10th at VFW Post 3278.

Proceeds from the raffle support the Marines Helping Marines Program, Leatherneck Scholarship Program and the Detachment’s support of local community events.
