Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Men’s & Ladies Auxiliary will observe the 72nd anniversary of the defense of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor at 6:00 p.m. on December 11, at their Post located at 2300 Stephen F. Austin in Brownwood.  The observance commemorates the defense of Pearl Harbor when Japan attacked the United States on December 7, 1941.

The Post and auxiliary members will observe the event by reading the historical background of the attack.

The public is invited to attend this observation at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11th.
