Early ISD Hosts Local Robotics Meet

BanditosEarly ISD recently held their 3rd Annual Robotics Meet at Early Middle School with a total of 19 teams competing.

Early Elementary had 7 teams, 8 teams were from Early Middle School and Early High School brought 4 teams.

One of the high school teams was competing in inventions and presented a Powerpoint to the audience during the competition.  The teams competed in 3 rounds of the Rubble Trouble challenge put out by TCEA.

The directors of the meet were Mrs. Tami Hull and Mr. Keith Taylor.

The first place team was Four Banditos followed by the Engineers in second place and in third place was Rescue Mode.

Teams are pictured below.

First Place:  (pictured at top) The Four Banditos are Austin Ortiz, Mason Ellis, Chevy Fulton and Damion Smith.

 

Engineers

Second Place:  (pictured above) Engineers team members are Taylor Hurt, Aaron Koch, Asa Welker, Stephenye Lyon.  The Engineers of BMS also recently tied for second place at the Invitational Robotics Meet hosted by San Angelo University and Region 15 Education Service Center which was held on November 4th.

RescueMode

Third Place:  Rescue Mode team members (pictured above) are Joshua DeLaTorre, Nolan Godfrey, Tucker Hale, and Kannon Vogt.
