Moore0002Funeral Services for Billy Kay Moore, age 77, of Early, Texas will be held 2:30 PM Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early, Texas.  Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home.  He passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Billy was born August 7, 1936 in Brown County, Texas to L.N. and Virginia Kay Moore.  He attended school in Early, Texas and moved to Abilene where he married Gayle Moore on March 3, 1978.  He returned to Early in 1994, was a carpenter and a member of the Early United Methodist Church.

He is survived by two sons Dale Moore of San Antonio and Stephen Moore of Austin; two daughters Lisa Murray of Austin and Virginia Moore of Houston; three grandchildren Tara Gould, Barry Wilson and Zach Wilson and three great grandchildren Paige Wilson, Grayson Goulds and Riley Goulds.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.  Memorials may be made to Early United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
