BFD Fire & Rescue Reports 11/18

BFDlogoSmallReports released for the week of November 11-17, 2013 from the Brownwood Fire Department include 23 medical emergencies, 3 fire calls, and 4 motor vehicle accidents.

Tuesday, November 12

*9:40 AM – BFD was dispatched to a fire call in the 1000 block of Center Avenue.  Fire crews responded to the call of a fire alarm and arrived on scene to find nothing showing.  The alarm was silenced and the building checked; however, nothing was found and the system was reset.

Wednesday, November 13

*1:11 AM – BFD was called to a fire in the 300 block of Bluffview Drive.  Firefighters responded to a report of smoke in the building.  Fire crews arrived on scene to find nothing showing.  The building was searched and the incident was determined to be a faulty smoke detector.

*1:17 PM – BFD was called to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Davis Lane and Market Place Drive.  Firefighters assisted with loading of one patient for transport to the hospital.

Thursday, November 14

*12:19 PM – BFD responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 1700 block of Magnolia.  One occupant was transported to the hospital by Guardian EMS.

Saturday, November 16

*11:38 AM – BFD responded to the 1700 block of Magnolia to a two-vehicle accident with no injuries involving a truck and a motorcycle.

Sunday, November 17

*5:53 AM – BFD responded to a single vehicle accident on South Hwy 377.  Firefighters assisted in loading of the patient for transport to the hospital.

*5:48 PM – BFD was called to a fire on County Road 199.  Upon arrival, no incident was found.
