Early High School to Present “Once Upon A Mattress” – Photo Gallery

once upon a mattress

The Early High School Concert Choir will be presenting the musical, Once Upon a Mattress, on November 9, 10, and 11, 2013, in the Early High School Student Activity Center.  Show times are 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, and 7:30 p.m. on Monday.  This musical is based on the theme of The Princess and the Pea, and incorporates a cast of about thirty.

The actors involved in presenting this fairy-tale are:  Grady Benton, Hunter Desemar, David Morales, Holli Hullum, Danielle Kramer, Samuel Kinnin, Keith Taylor, Caleb Callaway, Grayson Ebarb, Tyler Thompson, Sam Cox, John Allen, Mark Benton, Maggie Yantis, Jayslin King, Kassidy Allen, Elizabeth Rivard, McKenna Towell, Thomas Kinnin, Cassie Durden, Cassidie Henry, Mason Flippin, Gabriella Villlarreal, Kate Yantis, Kris Henry, Julie Hawkins, Sydney Neel, and Rae Bynum.

Tickets are now on sale and may be purchased at the main office of Early High School.  General admission price is $10.00 in advance, and $12.50 at the door.

Amy Chou is choreographer for the show.  Austin Bynum is the technical and lighting director.  Dr. Allen Reed is rehearsal accompanist, and is overseeing the computer program, InstrumentalEase, which is the orchestral accompaniment for the show.  The show is under the direction of Judy C. Reed, Director of Choral Activities for the Early Independent School District.
