Thursday, October 24

*8:43 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Campa Drive regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his mailbox and the pole it sits upon were damaged during the overnight hours, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Cherokee Drive regarding an assault.  According to the report, a male victim stated he had been assaulted by a known suspect.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to the intersection of FM 3100 and County Road 351 regarding theft and criminal mischief.  According to the report, contact was made with Brown County employees who advised a steel wheel roller had been vandalized and was also missing a battery.

Saturday, October 26

*11:12 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy arrived at a residence on Comanche Drive in May regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, three tires on the complainant’s vehicle were slashed.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 294 regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the resident stated that he believed a known suspect had broken into his residence while he was out of town on work for the past week.  Numerous items valued at approximately $4410 were taken including several rifles, the report states.  $460 worth of damage was also done to a vehicle, and the complainant wished to pursue charges against the suspect.

Sunday, October 27

*4:28 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the 2600 block of Belle Plain regarding the burglary of a building.  The owner of the business stated that someone had removed a window air conditioning unit from a window, entered the building and stole the cash box from the register, according to the report.

Monday, October 28

*8:20 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Coggin Avenue regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the paint on the complainant’s vehicle had been damaged during the night.

*11:13 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of Main Street regarding a warrant service.  According to the report, 52-year-old Billy Christensen, Sr. was confirmed to have a warrant for his arrest regarding a parole violation.    Christensen was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail.

*11:34 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, during the investigation the officer learned that the suspect had been identified but had left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival.  The investigation is pending further investigation.

*4:17 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding criminal trespass.  According to the report, a suspect was identified and observed on the property.  An active trespass warning was located and it was determined that the suspect was prohibited from entering the property at 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart.  The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Mylia Elizabeth Shipman of Comanche, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, the report states.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Matthew Ryan Cagwin of Bastrop for possession of marijuana equal or less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

*Early Police arrested 51-year-old Harold Lance Collins on a warrant related to criminal trespass.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 57-year-old Don Jones, Jr. of Stephenville for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Christy Allen McDonald of Cross Plains on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/money laundering equal or greater than $1500 less than $20,000.

*Early Police arrested 32-year-old James Bryan Schlegelmilch on a warrant related to failure to appear/motion to adjudicate/driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Kyle Lynn Weaver of Stephenville for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
