Six Brownwood High School CHOICES students visited East Elementary on Wednesday, October 23rd to share with third-graders about the variety of high school organizations and the many choices they have that can affect their future.

Lynsey McCormick, East Elementary School Counselor, is discussing life beyond the third grade with the students in order for them to begin thinking about their interests and strengths.  BHS CHOICES students, Abby Adams, Faith Bailey, Trey Fawcett, Dylan Lewis, Matt Lewis, and Connor Vara answered questions regarding their experiences and spoke about how the decisions and choices the third-graders make now can affect the kind of student they will become in high school.

“The high school students emphasized the importance of hard work, making good choices, and being involved,” said McCormick.  “The third-graders really enjoyed hearing about all of the options that are available to them as they get older.”
