Cheryl Jones was recently selected from many applicants to participate in the prestigious Court Management Program offered through the Texas Center for the Judiciary and the International Court Management Institute.

In order for Jones to be selected, she had to successfully complete the Trial Court Coordination Course and the Trial Court Management Course.  Many applicants from all over the state of Texas applied and only a handful of applicants were chosen.  After completion of the program in June, Jones will be one of a very select group of Certified Court Managers throughout the United States.

Jones stated “I was truly honored and excited to have the opportunity to enhance my skills as Court Coordinator and to serve Brown County to the best of my ability.”

Jones intends to run as a candidate in the Republican Primary for the office of Brown County District Clerk on March 4, 2014.
