Brownwood ISD reported that Woodland Heights Elementary was placed on a temporary soft-lockdown Friday morning just after school began due to a domestic dispute.

Police, Child Protective Services, and school officials have responded and given the all-clear. Classes have resumed as normal.

Brownwood Assistant Chief of Police James Fuller stated that the incident is being investigated and no information could be released as of Friday morning.  More information is expected to be released later today.
