Dolores “Dee” Morris

morris3Dolores “Dee” Morris, age 71, of Zephyr passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside services for Dee will be held at 2 P.M., Thursday, October 17, 2013 at the Zephyr Historical Tabernacle with Dallas Houston and Bill Slaymaker officiating. Visitation for the family will be Wednesday evening at Blaylock Funeral Home from 6-8 P.M.

Dee was born on March 15, 1942 to Stanley and Lois (Robbins) Mullins in Brownwood. She graduated from Brownwood High in 1961. On October 9, 1961 she married Gerald Morris, who preceded her in April 2013.  Dee was a long time employee of Eckerds and Wal-Mart in Oklahoma. She was a member of the Zephyr Baptist Church. Dee was a loving wife and sister, who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by sisters, Neta Mullins and Cheryl Allison; brother, Ronnie Mullins; niece, Tina Squyers and husband Jimmy of Early; nephew, Scott Mullins and wife Patricia; step-father C.F. Allison. Dee is also survived by numerous other relatives and may friends. And her special dog, Kaite.

Dee was preceded by her husband of 51 years, Gerald Morris; and mother Lois Allison.

Family and friends are welcome to leave online condolences at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
